There were two notable cards over the weekend, the huge Riyadh Season event headlined by Daniel Dubois’ four-knockdown, fifth-round upset destruction of Anthony Joshua to retain the IBF heavyweight title on Saturday and the Top Rank card on Friday headlined by super middleweight contender Jaime Munguia’s 10th-round knockout of Erik Bazinyan. We recapped both shows in detail. We also covered news of the week and served up memories on the anniversary of three significant fights.
Here is what’s on the show (in order):
Recap of Dubois’ stunning pounding of Joshua to retain his heavyweight belt in a terrific but one-sided fight. What happened, what’s next and should Joshua retire?
Recap of the quality undercard: Hamzah Sheeraz’s blowout of Tyler Denny to win the European middleweight title; Joshua Buatsi’s split decision over Willy Hutchinson in a terrific fight to win the vacant WBO interim light heavyweight title; junior lightweight Anthony Cacace’s decision over Josh Warrington that sent him into retirement; middleweight Josh Kelly’s underwhelming majority decision over Ishmael Davis; and junior welterweight Josh Padley’s upset over Mark Chamberlain to knock him out of a world title shot.
Recap of Munguia’s return from losing to Canelo Alvarez for a good fight and a big knockout of unbeaten Bazinyan as well as wins by two of Top Rank’s top prospects on the undercard, heavyweight Richard Torrez Jr. and junior welterweight Emiliano Vargas.

There’s always a chance Joshua gets a rematch and does the boxing clinic he did against Ruiz. However…
