There was just one notable fight on Saturday as IBF women’s welterweight titleholder Natasha Jonas and Mikaela Mayer delivered a sensational battle that Jonas won by split decision. We recapped and discussed the bout and also previewed the world title card that will take place in Japan on Tuesday that is headlined by unified junior flyweight champion Kenshiro Teraji’s defense against Carlos Canizales. We also went over news of the week and looked back on the anniversaries of two major fights.
