It was big boxing weekend and we chatted about all of it: Teofimo Lopez’s upset of Josh Taylor to win the WBO/lineal junior welterweight title; Jaime Munguia’s extremely close decision over Sergiy Derevyanchenko in a big-time fight of the year contender; Sunny Edwards’ dominating flyweight-retaining decision over Andres Campos; and the return of Adrien Broner, who fought for the first time in 28 months and routed Bill Hutchinson. We also covered Sunday’s annual International Boxing Hall of Fame inductions; a few news items; and memories on the anniversary of two major fights.

• Memories on the 34th anniversary of the long-awaited, outstanding and controversial draw in the Sugar Ray Leonard-Thomas Hearns rematch.
