A bunch of big names vs a bunch of fighters with no name or still making a name. None of these are super exciting. Feels like PBC missed out on a crown jewel fight with such a big announcement.
Tank jumping to 140 takes him out of the potential Lightweight round robin. I doubt any of those guys fight each other this year after all the hype in 2020 that the division saw.
Benavidez-Uzcategui could be the best match up on here.
Glad to see Showtime stepping it up! A couple of compelling fights in there. Feels like they shifted into a lower gear ever since HBO left the room. I will forgive them the inclusion of a fight featuring rigondoze.
Charlo-Castano & Lubin-Rosario are the two I'm looking forward to most. Wouldn't be shocked to see Castano outwork Charlo and take a close decision. As far as Lubin, he is more talented than Rosario, but there's no telling if his chin will hold up or not. Aside from the Charlo KO loss, he was rocked by the somewhat light hitting Gausha. Really difficult to pick a winner here...
Some solid match ups, all varying in degree of great to not that great but the weaker bills have fights to be added so there is a good chance these bills get even better.
Like the format; haven't seen this for other cards so will have to check.
As another commenter said: Benavidez-Uzcategui could be the best of the bunch. Castano-Charlo is the other pick for me.
Can't believe Rigondeaux is still at it - can't be too many 40 year-old Bantams around! More surprising is that tv companies are prepared to pay him :)
love the lowdown. Is tank that big in America? because over here in the UK he just looks like another Broner (santa cruz was far too small for him). Charlo v castano and benavidez v uzcategui take my money.
I would rather see Barrios rematch Akhmedov, and, as you said Dan, see Davis fight a top 5 lightweight on PPV. Nery-Figueroa will be great to watch, and the Mell-Castano card looks good. The rest...meh. That’s the PBC for ya. Sadly, none of the top 5 lightweight Twitter warriors of this generation will ever fight each other. Loma-Lopez is all we’re ever going to get. Maybe Valdez will step up and give us some good lightweight fights.
Love the Lowdown and fight card grades. Thanks Dan.

Stop hating on the Charlos. They give action packed fights. I see the "Matrix" is still sour over his 2nd lost too.
Thanks for your blog . Excellent . We are second class citizens in Australia. Have DAZN but showtime is not available . Can anybody help please

Thank you Dan, and long live boxing!!

No, he's not. The Broner comparison is fair at this point in his career.
Ok thanks for feedback. I’m sure he does have the potential but hope he starts fighting decent opponents soon.
Good to see this slate of fights coming up. Thank you

Thanks for the SHO update. A few good ones here.
Would love to see Ennis vs. Josesito Lopez or Jamal James inserted in one of these undercards, like Charlo or Tank.
