(1) The Serrano sisters and trainer, Jordan Maldonado (Cindy's husband), were once arrested in a police sting for dealing PEDs in various New York gyms - although this was a long time ago it at least shows their characters and that they may still have access to PEDs and PED knowledge.

(2) Amanda has went up and down in weight to capture 7 divisional world titles without the weight losses and additions affecting her performances in any way.

For me the combination of these two facts is a red flag making me very suspicious of Team Serrano. Since there are many PEDs that don't have tests available to detect them, VADA testing won't catch any drug cheat who knows what they're doing or knows someone that knows what they're doing. This happens all the time in cycling and athletics to name only two sports, it probably happens in many others including boxing.

I don't follow Female Fighters so they can take anything they want as far as that goes. But let me ask you this how did you get into the info on PEDs is what I am talking about? I mean is it just top of the head memory or what ? What I am getting at is two things one it has got to be hard to get the PED straight dope (so to speak) verifiable info talking. Second why do you take it on to find out about dopin in boxing ? Not disputing that you wrote or have written just curious is all. You seem to have a bit of knowledge on the subject that most don't know or follow.

Hello there John - the information about Amanda, Cindy Serrano and their trainer Jordan Maldonado being arrested for dealing PEDs in New York gyms (Amanda wasn't convicted but was clearly involved) is freely available from many sources and you can find these via google.

Here is a link to one article that looks at this but it's obviously one out of many.....

https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/other-sports/team-taylor-taking-no-chances-as-they-insist-on-drug-testing-of-opponents-1.4076074

As for finding out about doping in boxing - you usually don't find out because there is no proper drug testing protocols in boxing. The WBC Clean Boxing Program isn't funded properly and appears to be set up in order to give the WBC good publicity rather than to actually catch drug cheats.

There are only 4 professional boxers with year round VADA contracts - Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte, Nonito Donaire & Katie Taylor. These contracts are expensive and so only the big earners can afford them - yet Tyson Fury, Golovkin and Canelo don't have one - fans should be asking why?

However, even with proper protocols it wouldn't guarantee that the fighters were all clean as there are always PEDs that currently don't have a test to detect them.

The problem for dirty boxers and their "advisers" is that WADA doesn't advertise which PEDs don't have tests yet - that said, many of these "advisers" are very knowledgeable about PEDs and can often make educated guesses about what has and hasn't a test - this happens all the time in athletics and cycling and probably in boxing too. For example new drugs that could give an athlete advantages are being made all the time and obviously it's less likely that there would be a test yet for a really new drug and it may not even be on the WADA banned list yet.

Their involvement in PED dealing may have been a long time ago but I just don't believe that Amanda Serrano and trainer Jordan Maldonado decided to pass up their access to PEDs and PED knowledge when Amanda went pro.

She has won 7 world titles in 7 weight divisions, almost 8, and no matter how much weight she's lost or gained it hasn't affected her performance even once.

There is no failed tests to point to but as I've explained that means absolutely nothing.

For me, Katie Taylor's win over Amanda Serrano, is a victory for an almost certainly clean fighter over one that is almost certainly dirty.

Thanks OZZ, It would be hard enough to regulate those drugs if boxing were like other sports with some type of National/International Commision but now boxing ansere's to no one but its greedy self as it has always done. And they cry about Kinahan, when the devils dance to the same tune they just go under dif names is all. In a country U.S.A. that refuses to control the flow of Narcotics into its Cities and subs bc the money and power to the shirt and ties is too great, well they are still pointing at someone and someplace else. The fight game is eating itself alive, I watch and smile. I see the little podcasters and writers repeat the Promoters thoughts and intentions. Boxing fans that stop thinking for themselves and follow there latest hero. Look up the stats act like you know someone all that lazy stuff that passes as someone who cares for boxing. Ever witness a roid rage ? A guy get broken down from taking the short cuts? Or worst a young guy healthy and enough acne on his back for a surgeon team beat a local kid down like a dog. I have. Not too tough guy is it.

Yep - boxing needs to be dragged into the 21st century but as far as I can see it's never gonna happen. The older I get the more I dislike what's happening in the sport.

What the promoters, the writers, the talking heads do not realize or refuse to believe it boxing will always be around. It is a blood sport in that it is in the BLOOD of MAN not that it is a bloody sport. This garbage they call the fight game will not stand the test of time, it too will get in bed with the wrong guy or should I say girl these days. And it will be passed on to better people. As long as there are fight fans willing to think for themselves, not believe every hype job that comes down the road. And if they ever realize that the ones that controls boxing are not the Platforms, or the Promoters but the FAN himself look out. Imagine a strike on this Saul fight coming up. Everyone would stand down for one fight. We could make our own demands. BC to the suits in boxing it is all about the money, just like dope slinger on the corner.....................
