Thank you for the recap Dan!! 🙏

Seems likely that about half of those fight can actually happen.

Yea I was thinking along similar lines as to how many of these "ordered" fights will actually take place. I also was wondering how many of the said "ordered fights" actually take place from past experience ? I dont have the exact numbers but it is a simple question if there ever was one. In any case there are a lot of match ups that could happen that should make for some interesting fights in the next 12-18 months. All that said good to know what happened and was said from WBC but I can not get excited about any fight(s) until they are signed and drug tests are complete, and money is in the bank accounts, hype is exhausted things like that...............

Over the years many of them take place. Often fights ordered are done with both sides having lobbied for it.

Thanks yea I don't know much about the whole outcome of the fights being ordered and I did not think I could "google it" with any sense of getting a straight answer so I appreciate the facts. I have thru the years learned to not get up or down about any fights bc between physical health or mental health of the fighters (talking mental as in doing something violent or stupid) I wait for the annoucements that the money is there and that contracts are signed by the fighters then I begin to really think on the match ups. But good stuff. Good stuff on the sad outcome last weekend on your podcast. Good points made about the Doctor being in the fighters corner all night which is unusual, then about the refs many times throwing the towel out of the ring i like that way of looking at the whole situation, brought some clarity to the action in the ring. We often think of fighters actions the fear ? the unseen "thing" that happens when a fighter digs deep. Fighters that get distracted from the fight......But the ref he is in there he is influenced himself no man can shut it all out. Point is he is in the middle of it he see's more then anybody, he has more of a sense of a fight then most will ever speak of unless they spent time in the ring. Just a thought that kept coming back to me after last week. That and the biggest thought is he doing how is the man's family ? How are they getting thru this ? I know respect privacy and I do. But it sticks in my mind those things over this last situation in the ring. Too many words too many thoughts......
