As expected Helenius was the perfect opponent for Wilder - slow of foot, hand, thought with zero head movement.
Wilder, Haymon, Finkel, Dees & Espinoza have alienated many promoters elsewhere, Matchroom included, so I don't think anyone will be looking to do Wilder any favours - also he hasn't got a title any more and he's a high risk to reward ratio.
IMO Wilder will have to fight PBC heavyweights for the time being. He'll probably fight Ruiz in a WBC eliminator next.
Too many mismatches. We need Crawford-Spence to be made very soon. Oddsmakers already have a price on that fight, making Crawford a -135 favorite. I'll take Spence as an underdog any day of the week.
Most fighters in Wilder’s situation, where there’s a guy in their division who they can’t beat, tend to move up to avoid that fight. Wilder’s got no where to go, and all roads lead to Fury. Awkward
The slow motion showed that it was not really a wind-up punch. It was more of a hammer tap. Look at the position of his arm. How could a punch from that position exert so much power? He exerted more efforts and with a heavier weight when W tried to whack Fury 3. And F did not fall.
How not to beat Deontay Wilder:
Wade in with slow, wide, punches and disregard defending your head for even a second

Wilder, same as he ever was: a dosser.

No matter what Helenius did, he was going down. Please not Andy Ruiz Jr. Even I wouldn't pay to watch that Mismatch.
